aSenegal keen interest to use ample economic opportunities of Bangladesh: Amadou Moustapha DIOUF, Ambassador of Senegal
H.E. Mr. Amadou Moustapha DIOUF, Ambassador of the Republicof Senegalto Bangladesh, India, Sri-Lanka and Maldivesmet with the Chamber President Mr. Murshed Murad Ibrahim on 17th March, 2012 and expressed his keen interest to use ample economic opportunities and advantages ofBangladesh. They discussed various issues on bilateral trade and investment between the two countries. The Envoy of Senegal mentioned thatBangladesh has become an attractive investment destination in South andSoutheast Asia. He dubbedChittagong as a business hub in this region, he said Government of Senegal has shown interest for investing in several promising sectors. H.E. Mr. Amadou Moustapha DIOUF presented his credential to the hon’ble President ofBangladesh Mr. Zillur Rahman.
Chamber President Mr. Murshed Murad Ibrahim said thatSenegalis a friendly country ofBangladesh. He citedSenegalas an important emerging economic country in the African nations. He sought personal initiatives of visiting Plenipotentiary to pursue his country’s businessmen to import more Bangladeshi world class products like ceramics, pharmaceuticals, RMG, jute and leather goods. Chamber President emphasized on the sharing business information to further strengthen bilateral relations between two countries.
